We are a music family. We have music playing in my house around the clock, with streaming devices in every room, but the kids closets. So when we moved into a larger home, I finally got the chance to scratch a long-held itch and start my record collection (I was an 80s cassette kid).
My first record player was a 1960s GE Porta-Fi cabinet (pictured below) that started to fail shortly after purchase, so I started looking for a short-term solution until I could get it repaired. That is when I stumbled across this beauty on Kickstarter.com, the Fuse Audio GLD Vertical Record Player.
This player not only sounds great, it effortlessly handles slightly warped records and is able to connect to Bluetooth devices. Its also a show-stopper. Everyone asks about it when they walk into the music room.
$349.00 retail, so while not cheap, its a high quality build and I couldn't be happier with my judgement on this purchase.
You can purchase it now directly from the Fuse Audio site https://fuseaudio.net/products/fuse-audio-gld
