The closest bottle I've found to the salsa verde you have to ask the waiter for.

Who it's for
Flavor-over-heat people. Taco, egg, and tortilla-chip people. Cilantro and lime people.
Who should skip
Heat chasers. It's jalapeño, not habanero.
I buy a lot of hot sauces. I LOVE hot sauces. My digestive system is more team Mrs. Questionable these days, but new bottles keep making their way into the house nonetheless. I'm a sucker for a great-looking label and bombastic flavor descriptions, and I keep on chasing that dragon.
My standard.
I'm not a cover-everything-in-hot-sauce guy. I want a sauce that complements whatever I'm eating: the right one for my tacos, poured over eggs, or as the perfect chip dip. I value flavor over heat, but if you want to stick around my kitchen, taste great AND make me sweat. I'm happy if my mouth is dancing for at least 15 minutes after I stop eating.
The benchmark.
My favorite hot sauce is made at a Tex-Mex restaurant, a salsa verde you have to ask the waiter for. Bright green, creamy, tastes like liquid cilantro, lime, and habanero fire. Green Belly is the closest bottle I've found to that flavor, minus most of the heat since it's made with jalapeños. Great on eggs, tacos, skirt steak, enchiladas, chips.
The Mrs. Questionable Test.
She and my digestive system are on the same side of this one — they prefer to abstain — but the Green Belly bottle keeps getting emptier.
The ruling.
I'm a repeat customer, my belly be damned.
