Who should skip
People with no counter space and no cabinet space. It has to live somewhere.
We love Ninja. They make great products. They aren't cheap, but you're usually getting one of the best-made, best-performing products in the category. We already own a lot of Ninja tools, but I was blissfully unaware of the SLUSHi until a river neighbor handed us one. Turns out a frozen mimosa slushi doesn't need to do much to sell itself.
Pure indulgence.
Nobody needs a home slushi machine. We didn't have room for it on the counter or in a cabinet. I'm pretty sure Mrs. Questionable was only joking when she gave me the greenlight the week before July 4th. Shazam.
How it works.
The beauty of this expensive, indulgent device is its simplicity. Want a Coke slushi? Pour in a Coke and turn it on. Want frozen margaritas? Pour in your ingredients and turn it on. Simple cooling controls adjust the temperature of the metal cylinder, which slowly brings whatever liquid you add (alcoholic or not) to a perfect drinkable slush. Quiet, easy to load, easy to clean. Drinks take 10 to 20 minutes depending on sugar and alcohol content and the setting you pick.
Household politics.
Mrs. Questionable and I now fight the Questionable Kids over who gets the machine on hot weekends. I am waiting for the right moment to share my plan to turn the kitchen into a Fat Tuesday stand next summer.

Passed with a frozen mimosa in hand. The joke greenlight became a real one somewhere around the second batch.
